VISITS AND STUDY TRIPS

The aim of the visits is to enable students to experience buildings; to engage in dialogue with the architects responsible for their design and to allow for the informal association of students and Company members. Past visits have included:

The British Library, The Royal College of Physicians, Vintners Place, JP Morgan House, The Roman excavations in Guildhall Yard, Charterhouse, St Paul's Cathedral, Leeds Castle, the Red House and The Royal Opera House. The visits are open to students of the Company subject to prior reservations and limitations on numbers.

Practice seminars and visits are arranged from time to time to broaden students' experience of differing practice philosophies and management techniques. Previous visits have included the offices of Richard McCormac, Terry Farrell, The City of London Corporation and English Heritage.
